1. Parties and Scope

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of and access to Signal Pulse, a constitutional threshold assessment instrument ("the Product"), offered by Luminary Diagnostics Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16402565), with registered office at 4 Woodside Cottage, Stockbridge Road, North Waltham, RG25 2BA, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "Luminary Diagnostics").

By completing your purchase of Signal Pulse, you ("you", "the Purchaser") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. What Signal Pulse Is, and Is Not

Signal Pulse is a self-administered constitutional threshold assessment. It examines a specific AI-mediated decision process identified by the Purchaser against five constitutional dimensions and produces one of three determinations: PROCEED, PAUSE, or STOP.

    Important. Signal Pulse is not an audit, assessment, certification, determination, or assurance of AI governance, safety, adequacy, compliance, or risk. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind, legal, regulatory, technical, financial, or otherwise. No part of any report or output generated by Signal Pulse should be relied upon as evidence of compliance, validation, or approval for any regulatory, legal, or commercial purpose.
  

The determination produced by Signal Pulse is a signal about the constitutional conditions present in the specific process examined at the time of the assessment. It is not a verdict on organisational competence, governance quality, or AI risk. Determinations may differ between respondents, between assessments of the same process at different times, and between different processes within the same organisation.

3. Payment and Access

The price of Signal Pulse is £997 plus VAT at the applicable rate. Payment is processed by Stripe on behalf of Luminary Diagnostics Ltd. Access to the Signal Pulse assessment is granted immediately on confirmation of payment.

3.1 No Refund Policy

    All purchases are final. No refunds are offered under any circumstances once payment has been made. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that Signal Pulse is a digital product and that access is granted immediately on payment. You expressly waive any right you may have under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel a contract for digital content once performance has begun, by consenting to immediate delivery and acknowledging that you lose your right to cancel at that point.
  

If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from accessing or completing the assessment, please contact us at signal@luminary-diagnostics.com within 48 hours of purchase and we will endeavour to resolve the issue.

3.2 BreakPoint Credit

The £997 Signal Pulse fee is credited in full against a BreakPoint engagement with Luminary Diagnostics, subject to the standard BreakPoint Engagement Terms current at the time of engagement. The credit applies only to an engagement initiated within 24 months of the Signal Pulse purchase date. The credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.

4. Data, Privacy, and Confidentiality

4.1 No server-side storage

Signal Pulse runs entirely within your web browser. No responses, answers, or report content are transmitted to or stored on any server operated by Luminary Diagnostics or any third party. Your Constitutional Signal Report is generated locally within your browser session and is not accessible to Luminary Diagnostics.

4.2 Your responsibility to save your report

Your Constitutional Signal Report exists only within your current browser session. Once you close your browser window or navigate away from the report, the report is no longer recoverable. You are solely responsible for saving, printing, or otherwise preserving your report before closing your session. Luminary Diagnostics cannot recover a report on your behalf.

4.3 Payment data

Payment information is processed by Stripe, Inc. and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy and terms of service. Luminary Diagnostics does not store card details. Stripe may share your name and email address with us for the purpose of fulfilling your purchase. This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy at [PRIVACY POLICY URL] and the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

5. Intellectual Property

Signal Pulse, the Verification Stack methodology, the Constitutional Signal Report structure and format, all question sets, interpretation frameworks, scoring logic, and associated intellectual property are owned by and remain the exclusive property of Steve Butler and Luminary Diagnostics Ltd. The Verification Stack methodology is on NIST public record, March 2026.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Signal Pulse for your own internal purposes only. You may not:

Reproduce, copy, or replicate the Signal Pulse question set, scoring methodology, or report structure
Resell, sublicence, or commercially exploit Signal Pulse or any output generated by it
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the methodology from the software
Represent any Signal Pulse output as an independent audit, certification, or regulatory determination

The Constitutional Signal Report generated by your assessment is yours to use internally. You may share it within your organisation and with advisers acting on your behalf. You may not publish it publicly or present it to regulators or insurers as evidence of compliance or certification.

6. Included Bonuses

Signal Pulse purchases include the following additional items, delivered separately by email following purchase confirmation:

Signal Debrief: a 30-minute video call with a representative of Luminary Diagnostics, bookable via the Calendly link in your confirmation email. One call per purchase. Must be booked within six months of purchase date.
Verification Circle Foundation membership, three months' complimentary membership of the Verification Circle Foundation tier. Access is subject to the Verification Circle Terms of Service. Membership does not automatically renew; any renewal is at the discretion of the Purchaser.
The Verification Economy, digital edition, delivered as a PDF by email.
Verification Stack Primer, PDF thought leadership document, delivered by email.
Exposure Pulse early-bird access, priority access to Exposure Pulse when it becomes available, subject to availability and Luminary Diagnostics' then-current terms.

These additional items are provided as a courtesy and have no monetary value for refund purposes. Luminary Diagnostics reserves the right to modify or withdraw any bonus item with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Luminary Diagnostics' total liability to you in connection with Signal Pulse, however arising, shall not exceed the fee you paid for the assessment (£997 + VAT).
Luminary Diagnostics shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive loss or damage, including without limitation loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, or reputational damage, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.
Luminary Diagnostics does not warrant that Signal Pulse will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose beyond its stated function as a threshold assessment instrument.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Warranties and Representations

You represent and warrant that:

You are purchasing Signal Pulse in a business capacity and not as a consumer for personal use
The information you provide during the assessment is given honestly and to the best of your knowledge
You will not use Signal Pulse or its outputs in any way that is unlawful or that could cause harm to any third party

Luminary Diagnostics warrants that Signal Pulse will function as described in its published documentation at the time of purchase. This warranty does not extend to any outputs or determinations, which represent the application of a framework to information provided by the Purchaser.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or Signal Pulse shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

Luminary Diagnostics reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. The Terms that applied at the date of your purchase govern your use of that purchase.
